Answers to common questions about your PutFinder account and subscription.
How to cancel your Plus subscription
Six steps, with a screenshot of each one.
Cancelling stops your next renewal — it does not end your access right away, and this page makes no claim about the product's performance.
-
Sign in and open Account
Sign in at putfinder.com, then open Account — either from the account menu, or by going directly to putfinder.com/account.
-
Find Manage subscription in the Subscription card
On the Account page, find the Subscription card. Manage subscription is the last row in that card — below the plan-status line, the daily-allowance line, the Account row, and the note about which address the subscription is attached to. Click it.
The Subscription card on your Account page. Manage subscription is the button at the bottom.
-
You'll leave putfinder.com for Stripe's billing portal
Manage subscription opens a secure page hosted by Stripe, our payment provider — the address bar will show billing.stripe.com instead of putfinder.com. That's expected: PutFinder doesn't process payments itself, so subscription changes happen on Stripe's page.
-
Click Cancel subscription
On Stripe's page, find Cancel subscription — it sits next to Update subscription, near the top.
Stripe's billing portal. Cancel subscription sits beside Update subscription.
-
Tell Stripe why you're leaving, then confirm
Stripe asks for a reason before it lets you continue. After you continue, it shows a final review screen confirming your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period — not immediately.
Stripe asks why you're leaving, then shows a final confirmation before the cancellation takes effect.
-
Confirm it worked, back on Account
Return to putfinder.com/account. The Manage subscription button looks the same — that's normal. What changes is the first line of the Subscription card: it now reads "This subscription has been cancelled. Access continues until <date> and will not renew." That sentence is how you know it worked.
After cancelling, the Subscription card's first line confirms it and shows the date access ends.
Looking for a refund instead of just stopping renewal?
Cancelling stops your next charge; it does not refund the period you've already paid for. A refund is a separate request — available within 7 days of your first payment on this account — by emailing [email protected]. Requesting a refund also cancels the subscription.
